  - 1980년부터 석유공학분야 컨설턴트 회사인 S.A. Holditch & Associates, Inc.에 참여, 1999년 부회장직 수행 후 퇴임

  - 1962년부터 Exxon Production Research Company, Reservoir Studies Division에서 7년여간 근무했으며, 
      그 후 Exxon社의 미국내 석유 매장량 연구를 위한 주요 field study group 수장직을 역임하는 등 활발한 활동

  - 미국 Georgia Institute of Technology Ph.D.(화학공학과)

 - Basic definitions and classification of types of reserves
   ※ SPEWPC-AAPG classifications and definitions ; U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission(SEC) 
 - Determination of reserves by analogy and volumetric techniques
 - Class exercises

 <Day 2> 

  - Determination of reserves by material balance and decline curve techniques

 <Day 3>

  - Determination of reserves from production data analysis and simulation

  - Class exercises

 <Day 4>

  - The time value of money, cash flow analysis, before and after tax cash flow analysis, class exercises

 <Day 5> 
  - Financial yardsticks(net present value, rate of return, etc.), reserve reporting requirements for publicly 
     traded companies, reserves and international contracts. Final exam.
